Tibetan Healing Bowls -

Have been noted to have been used since before 2000 BC. Kimberlee uses hand-hammered bowls from Nepal, comprised of 7 precious-metals: Gold (Sun), Silver (Moon), Mercury (Mercury), Copper (Venus), Iron (Mars), Tin (Jupiter) and Lead (Saturn). These metals are smelted and purified prior to being cast, reheated and hammered into form while monk-artisans sing chants or mantras. Kimberlee’s oldest bowl is over 400 years old.

Traditionally used for meditation, the bowls are struck gently, or rubbed to created a resonant sound that promotes energetic balance, harmony, deep relaxation, stress reduction, holistic health and healing, and has a direct affect upon their corresponding chakras. In addition, the tones set up a “frequency following response” which balances left/right brain synchronization.

Kimberlee will often incorporate bowls into your Reiki session to facilitate a centering effect.
